今天看了热播电视剧《你是我的荣耀》前两集，然后弃剧了
Watched the first two episodes of the super popular series You Are My Glory, and then stopped
首先先说明一下哈，我只看了前两集，但是我觉得一部电视剧一集足以定乾坤，两集已经是给机会了。然后原著我也没有看过，所以还原不还原这些都不是很清楚。
First, I just want to say, even though I only watched the first two episodes of this show, but I think that, for a good show, one episode is plenty enough to make a viewer want to continue watching, and I gave this show two chances. I’ve also never read the book this is based on, so I don’t really know if this show is really book- accurate.
从剧情来讲，前两集很多时间都在打王者，作为一个不咋打游戏的人，看得我不仅一头雾水还十分的无聊。
The plot was, at least for the first two episodes, extremely uninteresting. The majority of the time was wasted on the main character learning how to play a video game. As a person who does not enjoy video games, that was just boring and confusing.
然后是角色。在这里先承认：这俩太养眼了，抛开角色论颜值这俩真的的绝绝子！
Then, characters. I just want to say here: these two (the main leads) are seriously both so hot. Like, not discussing character or anything, just them. Like, *chef’s kiss*
乔晶晶这个角色在我看来十分的无聊。她即努力又好看还善良，可爱带一点自恋，这种角色真的是一抓一大把，没有什么创意。我个人认为热巴演的还可以，眼睛里闪闪发光的感觉有的，虽然还是有待进步。
The main character is a girl named Jingjing Qiao, and she was boring. She was hardworking and pretty and kind, cute and also a tiny bit narcissistic. Basically, one of those stock characters you see everywhere, with pretty much zero creativity in her. I think Diliraba (the actress), played her well enough, and she did have that sort of “eyes sparkling” kind of feeling to her. Still, nothing really eye-catching here.
然后是这位于途。这个角色单纯的“理科男”+“高冷”+“学霸”人设，感觉国产剧里还是一抓一大把。可能因为角色的定位，杨洋说话总是感觉压着声音没张开嘴，让我看着有点难受，就跟那种故意用御姐音说话的人有点像。
Then of course, the male lead. This character is basically a combination of the “STEM dude” and “Arrogant” and “Good at EVERYTHING” stereotypes all lumped together, and another one of those characters that are literally everywhere if you watch modern Chinese dramas. Also, I can’t be the only one who cannot deal with the way the actor Yang Yang speaks. He sounds like a little boy trying to sound cool by making his voice deeper, and is also unable to open his mouth fully.
作为观众，我对一部剧的要求很简单。如果是喜剧，那就让我笑。如果是爱情片，那就要不让我萌生谈恋爱的想法要不让我永远不想谈恋爱。如果是科技片，那就请让我为你创造的世界惊叹。这部剧，作为一部爱情剧，并没有让我产生对爱情的向往亦或者厌恶，我只是十分平淡的看完了两集，这也是为什么我弃剧了。
I think, as an audience member, I have very low expectations for a show. If it is a comedy, I just want to laugh. If it is a romance, I want to either feel like I want to get into a relationship now, or never date again. If it’s sci fi, I want to be amazed at the world created. This show, as a rom com, was unsuccessful in making me feel anything at all, I just watched the two episodes with zero feelings. That’s basically why I stopped watching.
好的 又是希望有一天大众的国产剧可以真实有创意且有深度的一天
Anyway, just another day wishing and hoping that one day CDramas can be creative and deep
