Watched the film The Father today (again, the Chinese title is so much more poetic, whyyy)
今天看了《困在时间里的父亲》（中文翻译过来的片名又一次更有诗意哈哈）
Shook. Sincerely.
From the details in the film (the furniture slowly disappearing piece by piece), the colors(the blues are gorgeous), to the character developments and appearances… What can I say, maybe the Oscars aren't completely blind yet.
从细节上的处理（家具一点点没有）到颜色（超级美的蓝色色调）到角色出现和发展…
怎么说呢，其实奥斯卡还没有死。
At first, in the beginning of this film, I felt a bit confused, but that is what I think makes this film so amazing: the audience sees the film through the eyes of a man with Alzheimer's, forcing us to feel through his confusion at the beginning all the way to his breakdown and his helplessness at the end. Finishing this film made me just feel that taking care of the elderly must be such a painful thing, watching as a person you love slowly forgets everything, going as far as even forgetting themselves.
看这部电影一开始会有点迷惑，但是从一个痴呆患者的角度来看这部电影让观众和Anthony一起疑惑和不解，到最后他的崩溃让观众跟着感受到他的无助。看完这部电影真的觉得无论是照顾老人的人太难受了，一点点看着一个自己爱的人慢慢忘记一切，甚至忘掉自己。
Also, I just want to point out that this is the director/ script writer’s (they’re the same person) first film. Maybe this is what makes humans different because that’s what he’s doing while I’m over here thinking about what I eat later.
这部电影是导演/编剧的第一部电影。可能这就是人与人的区别吧， 毕竟人家在搞这部电影的时候我在想着下一顿吃什么。
There is absolutely nothing I can say about the actors, except that they are all amazing. Whether it is Sir Anthony Hopkins or Olivia Colman, both gave the audience the most realistic and deep performances. At the end, when Anthony collapses, it seriously just feels like Sir Hopkins just bragging about his acting skills, he was THAT good.
演员们演技没话说，无论是影帝Sir Anthony Hopkins还是影后Olivia Colman都给观众呈现了最最真实的表演。结局有一段Anthony的崩溃，这一段真的感觉就是Hopkins老爷爷秀演技，太感人了。
Anyway, if you can see it, definitely go see it!! It was comforting to watch, the plot was deep and interesting, the acting was subtle and out of this world, and overall this was just a 11/10 experience!
能看的一定要去看，视觉上很舒服，故事情节有趣有深度，演技低调的炸裂，总而言之 11/10！
