Watched multiple hours of SNL again today haha
今天又看了几个小时的SNL哈哈
This time I watched a lot of the sketches of the original 1975 cast. The highlights:
这回补了好多个1975年原卡司的sketch, 今日高光：
1. Weekend Update: Roseanne Roseannadanna on Smoking, Season 3:
What can I say, it’s really no wonder that Gilda Radner was the first QUEEN of SNL, this character feels like the kind of crazy that Kristen Wiig would later become known for, but is also adorable and hilarious. Especially that line making fun of the caller, I died laughing haha!
怎么说呢，Gilda Radner不愧是SNL初代QUEEN，这个角色的感觉就很像是以后wiig会搞的比较疯狂的角色，但是还很可爱搞笑，比如说那句嘲讽来电的人哈哈哈笑死我了！
2. The Pink Box, Season 3:
I was originally super confused when this sketch first began, but because both Laraine Newman and Gilda Radner where in it I finished it (even though this is a video from the 70s, after learning about the eating disorders these two amazing actors had, I felt so bad for them, watching how unhealthy they both looked), but the sketch got funnier towards the end, and I loved the subtle criticism of how the sellers of feminine products wouldn't just say what they were selling!
这个sketch看得我很迷惑一开始，但是因为有Laraine Newman和Gilda Radner我就看了下来（虽然这是七几年的视屏了但是了解她们两个的进食障碍后真的看她们瘦成这样好心疼），到后面还挺搞笑的哈哈哈暗讽那些卖女性产品但是又不直说的品牌！
3. Coneheads Family Feud, Season 3:
Hahaha, this was just stupidly funny. The seemingly normal yet obsessed with vegetables family vs the Coneheads in a game, and the three cast members playing the Coneheads were seriously so amazing, they all spoke exactly how I would expect them to speak if they were robots!
哈哈哈哈这个是真的很好笑。看起来像正常人但对蔬菜着迷的一家vs尖头外星人一家的游戏，尖头外星人的三位卡司说话就跟机器人一模一样，太牛逼了！
4. Extremely Stupid, Season 2:
This one was amazing, I think it might just be my favourite sketch of the nigh! It is literally just Gilda rubbing in how talented she is for an entire sketch, and halfway through the host of the episode just gave up trying to hold in her laughter and started watching Gilda like she was an audience member, which for some reason just made the sketch funnier. My favourite line from the sketch: “…God given American right, the right to be extremely stupid.” I can’t stop laughing.
哈哈哈哈这真的也是绝了，是我今天看的几个sketch里面最喜欢的之一了，完全就是Gilda的个人秀，因为中途host直接破防开始大笑，后面直接跟观众一样欣赏Gilda的表演。记忆犹深的一句台词：“…God given American right, the right to be extremely stupid.” 笑死了哈哈哈哈
5. Slumber Party, Season 1:
This one is also hilarious, where the female cast members pretended to be kids and were discussing adults’ sex life. The most iconic part is when Laraine goes, at the end: “i might” I don’t even know why, but her delivery of that line and her timing there was just impeccable!
这个也很好笑，女卡司们饰演小朋友们讨论大人们的夜生活，最经典的是最后Laraine的那一句台词：“i might”哈哈哈说这句台词的语调简直太好笑了！！
When you think about it, though, the first cast seriously had it hard. Whether it was the behind the scenes sexism (stupid beliefs like “women aren't funny”) or the pressure that they put on themselves resulting in so many mental issues and health problems (out of the three original female cast members, two of them had eating disorders, and one of them also had a drug addiction on top of that. The only other remaining female cast member was made fun of for not doing drugs, and only three people in the entire cast didn't become addicted to drugs at some point) This cast is classic, but also so sad.
其实细想这个年代的卡司是真的不容易，无论是幕后的性别歧视（各种声音说 “女人不好笑啊”这种屁话）还是他们内心的一些压力所导致的问题（总共三位女性原卡司，两位患有进食障碍症其中一位还有毒瘾，还有一位因为自律不吸du而被嘲讽，全员只有三位没有染上毒瘾）这一届的卡司虽然是经典但也是意难平啊。
Anyways, no more unpleasant stuff, Saturday Night Live is GOD!! Original cast or modern day casts!!!
anyway，不想不开心的，SNL永远的神！！无论初代还是现代！！！
