Today I watched Hateship Loveship
今天看了Hateship Loveship《爱恨一线牵》
Literally the English and the Chinese translated name of this film are both so poetic.
这部电影无论是英语名还是中文名都好绝啊
First of all, let me say that this movie is very healing, but it also has some embarrassment.
首先我说一句，这部电影特别特别治愈，但也有比较尴尬的地方哦
This film is adapted from the short story Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage by the Nobel Prize-winning writer Alice Monro. It is about a nanny (played by Kristen!!) who had been taking care of an old woman from a young age, and when the old woman passed away was forced to move in with a new family to take care of a girl. The story is about the love and accidents that happen to the nanny at this home.
这部电影改编自获得诺贝尔文学奖的作家Alice Monro的短篇小说《憎恨、友情、求爱、爱情、婚姻》，讲的是一个从小照顾一位老人的保姆（我家wiig饰演）转到新家庭去照顾一个小女孩以及保姆在这个家里所经历的爱情和事故。
In terms of characters, I think all the characters combined couldn't match the depth of the main character. Johanna Perry had almost no contact with the outside world since the age of 15, and after her client died, she was thrown back inside the outside world, a completely new world to her.
从角色来说，我觉得所有角色都比不过保姆这是一个角色。Johanna Perry是一个从15岁开始就一直照顾一位老人，而且几乎跟外界没有接触。等老人死后，她就跟被投入到新的世界一样重新回到外界。
From the very first few scenes, it is obvious immediately that Johanna is very good at suppressing her emotions. The old woman who she had taken care for for half her life passed away, and all she did was calmly change the lady’s clothes. She seems even more out of place in the outside world.
从一开始的几幕我们就可以看出，Johanna是一个很会压抑感情的人。陪伴多年的老人去世，她只是平静的给她换上衣服。她于这个世界似乎格格不入。
But as the movie progresses, Johann grows as well. She is the type of person who sees through pretty much everything, but she doesn't say what she knows, and instead juts lives her own life. She doesn't care for knowledge she shouldn't have, and doesn't pry into anyone else’s life. Her story kind of hints to the audience that she has never really wanted anything, and is easily satisfied. She didn't know how to answer questions people asked her at first, but at the end we see her manoeuvring socialising rather well (though she is still shy), and even being able to call someone on the phone. Her growth isn't explicit, but it is displayed in small details.
但是随着电影的发展，Johanna也在成长。她就是典型的看破不说破，而且自顾自的生活，对八卦对别人的人生都不会过于探究。她的故事背景告诉我们她从小可能就没有想要过什么，很容易对现实满足。她从一开始的别人问她问题会有点不知道怎么回答，到后面的可以（虽然还是很害羞）开朗的和别人打电话聊天，她的成长体现在小小的细节里面。
Johanna is also a lucky girl. Spending her days with death and the elderly brought her a peace of mind and a fixation on the few things she wants (in a good way). In the end, she bet on the right person (which might have to do with the fact that she hasn’t seen many people so trusted the person despite what the world would say), and she found her own happiness. Like she said herself at the end: “I have everything I want.”
Johanna是一个很幸运的女孩子，日常和死亡生活在一起照顾老人给她带来的是通畅的心如止水以及对事情的执着。她最终赌对了人（这可能跟她见识少有关系），找到了自己的幸福。就像她自己最后所说的一样： “I have everything I want.”
The plot of this film is simple yet interesting, going downhill before going back uphill, and is an extremely comforting movie to watch. But maybe because the film was based on a short story, there are times when the film seems a bit slow paced, but I think overall, it is a film that leaves a happy and fulfilled feeling in your heart (that was a weird way to describe it).
这个故事的故事线平淡但是有趣，先低谷再治愈，看得很舒服。但也很有可能是因为故事本身改编自短篇小说，所以故事可能偶尔会显得有点慢。总体来说，我认为是一部看完心里会很开心很幸福（奇奇怪怪的修辞）的影片。
And also, although this film is an indie, the cast members are all big names! But because the story revolves around Johanna, so we see the most of Kristen (which obviously makes me really happy). And even if I weren't a fan, I have to say I really admire her in this film. From the way she walks to the way she talks, every movement helped create this slightly socially awkward, seemingly slow but actually clever character. Without Kristen’s amazing portrayal, there would be many small details about the character’s background story and growth that wouldn’t work as well, and this character’s depth is definitely a challenge to any actor. She succeeded in this challenge. As an audience member I am impressed, as a fan, I am proud.
以及这部电影，尽管是一部Indie，这几位演员都很厉害！但是因为故事线主要围绕Johanna，所以我看到的最多的是我的wiig。而抛开粉丝滤镜，我真的很佩服她。她无论是走路还是说话，一举一动都成为了这个情商有点低，看似呆但实则内心比谁都清楚的角色。角色的背景故事成长等等的小细节，没有我wiig如此深入骨的饰演就不会如此明了，这个角色的深度对演员绝对是一个挑战，而她挑战成功了，作为一个观影的观众我看完很佩服，作为一个粉丝很欣慰。
