Finished the first season of Good Omens today and I am drowning on the ship that is Aziraphale and Crowley.
今天看完了《好兆头》的第一季！呜呜呜呜嗑死我算了呜呜呜
First of all, this show’s vibe is literally exactly like the book (this is why we should always get the authors themselves to write the screenplay for adaptations), which means it was funny and witty but also with just the tiniest bit of adorableness. As a person who loved the book, I really really really liked the show!
首先 这部剧真的就是书的感觉（不愧是作者亲笔写的剧本），真就是幽默风趣但是又带着一点可可爱爱。本身作为喜欢书的人我就真的很喜欢这部剧！
But also, it’s similar, but not exactly the same. I was basically in awe the entire time at the bravery of this show: a female voiced God, bad/good/no-side protagonists, and a final winner who is only a kid. And I love the message this show sends out about religion, because I believe, like it does, that whether you be God, human, or mythological being, there is no such thing as good/evil incarnate.
但是这部剧最厉害的地方就是虽然它跟书一样，但是却又跟书不一样。我一边看我就一边感慨，这剧真的好大胆啊。上帝是女生配音，好人似乎跟坏人一样，而最后胜利的是小孩子。这部剧我真的特别喜欢对于宗教的看法，因为我觉得完全好和完全坏的人、神、还是怪兽都不存在。
And also, I will fight to the death defending the angel/demon ship because god they are literally made for one and other. This is where I should quote Neil Gaiman himself: “Whatever Aziraphale and Crowley are, it’s a love story.”
然后然后 我真的嗑死天使和恶魔了呜呜呜他们两个真的好般配！这个时候就应该用上作者本人说的话：“Whatever Aziraphale and Crowley are, it’s a love story.”
I would just like to thank this story for also giving us some sexual representation. Whether or not these two have gender, they still love one another. The biggest threat Aziraphale can make to Crowley is that they’ll never speak to them again; Crowley will chase after Aziraphale begging to leave Earth together. The love they have for one another is deep enough that it warrants no justification, especially not kisses and holding hands.
感谢这个故事给我们看到一对无性恋者的感情。无论他们有没有“性”，他们都是深爱着彼此的。Aziraphale可以给Crowley最大的威胁就是“我以后再也不和你说话了”，Crowley会追着Aziraphale祈求他跟他一起离开地球拯救自己。他们两个对彼此的深爱是不能质疑的，尽管他们也不亲嘴也不牵手。
I honestly love the casting for this show. Whoever cast this group of actors should get a raise 100%. Also, this show is the perfect example of a good adaptation and I’m so grateful for that.
