Finished Euphoria Specials Part 1: Rue today.
今天看完了《亢奋》特别篇Part 1: Rue
I never thought that an almost one hour long episode of virtually nothing but two people sitting there having a conversation would make me feel so touched, so inspired, but here we are. Ali is such an amazing friend, and Rue is such an adorable, dumb, teenager.
从来没有想到，一个几乎1个小时长但都只是两个人坐在那里说话的一集电视剧能够给我如此大的启发。Ali真的是一个很好的朋友，而Rue也真的是一个傻傻的小可爱。
Because this is only one episode, there is nothing I really wanted to say in particular besides the fact that I think this episode has something that I think everyone in their low points in life should go watch, and that the director has able to, so smoothly, incorporate both comfort and depression into this episode at the same time. Anyway, I also wanted to share some of my favourite quotes:
毕竟只有一集，也没什么很多想说的除了我觉得这段对话是一个任何人到自己难过低谷的时候都可以去看看的以外，也让我感慨治愈和丧可以同时进行啊。
anyway就给大家看看我最喜欢的几个quote吧：
Miss Marsha: “Everything that’s good to you, ain’t always good for you.”
Ali: “That could just be the struggle of all human beings. Living up to their belief system.”
Rue Bennet: “The world’s just really fucking ugly, you know? It’s really fucking ugly, and everyone seems to be OK with it, you know? The anger. The level of anger. Everyone’s just out to make everyone else not seem human. And I don’t really want to be a part of it. I don’t even want to witness it.”
Finally, I just want to say, I hope everyone can make it through life highs and lows, and come through the other side a happier person.

I also finished the second part of the specials, Jules.
今天还看完了特别篇第二集Jules的故事
I also loved this episode, because we really got to see so much more about Jules and her background, and understand her as a character better. Which, of course, only made me more mad about Rules (GIVE ME RULES)!! I really love the conflicting emotions Jules has about being trans, being both confident in who she is but also wanting to PROVE to the world that she is a girl. I feel o bad for her, but at the same time, I related so much with this feeling of having to prove to the outside world something about yourself that you shouldn’t have to prove, proving something that is integral to who you are.
这一集我也好喜欢，我们真的是看到了Jules的背景也更加理解了她。也更加让我意难平了呜呜 Rules永远的神啊啊啊啊啊一定一定要好起来！！我真的好喜欢Jules作为变性的人对自己的双方面的感情，虽然自信但是也有一些想要和世界证明自己是女孩子的感觉，我超级心疼但是也理解这种想要跟外人证明一些明明你没有必要证明的事情，证明你自己是谁。
These two special episodes have really fleshed out these two characters, and Jules’ story was told in such an ethereal way, with her imaginations and the sea, the story is, as per Euphoria’s tradition, extremely visually gorgeous. And the colors were again used beautifully, with the gold and the blue and the purple… The colors and how they are used are one of the most unique and outstanding parts about Euphoria.
这两个特别篇让这两位角色都丰富了很多，而Jules这一集的讲述故事的方式超级唯美，中间穿插着她的幻想和大海，真的好美。而且颜色的穿插，金色啊蓝色啊紫色啊…这些色彩也是《亢奋》让人最着迷的地方吧。
Lastly, I wanted to add a quote I loved so much (even though it’s already all over the Internet), because of how beautiful it is:
最后放一句我好喜欢的台词，虽然比较大众，但是我觉得真的很美：
Jules: “I think that, like, I want to be as beautiful as the ocean. The ocean’s strong as fuck. The ocean’s feminine as fuck.”
