Watched the film I’ve wanted to see a long time Jungle Cruise in the theaters today!
今天在影院里看了这部我一直很想看的Jungle Cruise！
I’ve wanted to watch this since I saw the interviews Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt did for this film, because the two of them have the best chemistry ever. I die laughing at every single interview. Two comedically talented people in a movie for Disney? What more can you ask?
一直很想看呢是因为Dwayne Johnson和Emily Blunt两位主演的cp感爆表，我看过两人的宣传采访真的每次都笑死我！俩喜剧人给迪士尼拍电影，还有什么比这更吸引人了吗？
Normally, I’d talk about the film’s acting, the actors, the story, or the CGI, but because I was only able to see this in the Chinese dubbed version, the viewing experience was slightly hindered (especially when they kept rubbing Frank in Chinese characters. I don’t get why we have to translate names; I really don’t.) So I’m just, instead, going to talk about the characters.
通常我会说这部电影的演技啊演员啊特效啊故事线啊，但是因为国内现在只上映了国语配音的版本，所以多多少少有点出戏（特别是一直在喊的“弗兰克”！名字为啥一定要翻译啊啊啊无法理解）所以这部电影就主要讨论一下角色人物。
This is, after all, still a Disney film, and the themes and storylines are obviously more for the kids, but the characters deserve a little digging into.
毕竟是迪士尼电影，这种题材也肯定是给小朋友们更多一点，所以说故事线不复杂，但是几位角色还是很值得探讨的。
First, there’s the relentless adventurer Lily. Lily is a classic example of the modern independent woman, knowing when to ask for help and when to rely on yourself. But what makes the character different is not that she’s an independent woman; it’s that she’s an independent woman in her time, before the 21st century.
先是不顾一切想要冒险的Lily。Lily真的是一个很标准的新时代独立女性，懂得什么时候要靠自己什么时候要求帮助。但是让这个角色独特的点是她生活在一个并不是21世纪的时间。
Her character development is obvious through the way her character dresses: at first, no matter how much it irked her, she dressed the way society wanted her to. Then, after going through life and death situations on the Amazon River, even going back to London didn’t make her take off her pants. She remained that sassy, boss ass bitch. Lily is brace and smart, and admirably strong.
她的变化主要可以从穿着中看出来：一开始她屈服于社会的要求，穿着明显不适合她的裙子。后来经历了亚马逊河上的旅行，经历了生死，她就算回到伦敦也没有换上裙子，继续做一个穿着裤子帅气的女孩。Lily真的很勇敢聪明，也有着让人羡慕的毅力。
The there’s Lily’s brother MacGregor. At first, he seems like the archetypical spoiled little lord, a little brat. He seems dim and even a bit comical, but we find out soon enough that he isn’t just what he appears. He is so much more. He led a life as rebellious as his sister, but while she fought for equal rights because of her gender, he fought for the right to be himself, to love who he wants to.
然后是Lily的弟弟MacGregor。一开始我们只认为他是一个被宠坏的小王子，一个小少爷。他看似什么都不懂还有点憨憨的，但是后面我们才知道，他远远不仅仅是表面上的样子。他的经历可以说跟姐姐一样坎坷，但是姐姐是因为性别而他是因为性取向。
As the film progresses, we are able to see this pampered brat become a hero who can protest his sister, a person who can stand in front of a bunch of white old men and not cower, instead speaking with confidence and self assurance. We get to see his love for his sister and their admirable relationship. They are amazing, and they deserve so much.
随着电影的发展，我们也看到这个小少爷成为一个独当一面保护姐姐的英雄，成为一个站在一群老男人前不唯唯诺诺反倒自信有底气的人。我们看到了他对姐姐深深的爱，也看到了两人令人羡慕的姐弟情。他们很好，他们值得更好。
Thank you to Disney for bringing more diverse characters, and for not making a characters diversity their only trait
