Watched Cinema Paradiso with a friend yesterday.
昨天和朋友去看的《天堂电影院》
This is definitely a movie that you need to sit down and slowly savour. It felt like an ode to all the old movies, and the movies that were weaved throughout the film added so much romance to the film.
这部电影真的需要坐下来静静的欣赏。它给我的感觉是一部致敬老电影的爱情片，全片贯穿的老电影给电影添加了许多浪漫。
To be honest, if you’re a person like my friend, who likes exciting and big BOOMs, this film might seem extremely boring to you, because it doesn't have big ups and downs. Still, it’s a beautiful film. Maybe part of why I love this film is because to me, like it is to Toto, the theater is a magical place, a paradise.
说实在的，像我朋友一样喜欢刺激的人会觉得这部电影很无聊，因为它没有大起大落，但是它是一部很美丽的电影。可能我喜欢这部电影的原因是因为，跟男主托托一样，电影院在我心里是一个带有魔法的地方，是一个天堂。
Lost loves, self-sacrificing family, noble friendships, this film has all of that. It is like a love letter that puts romance above all else.
走散的爱情，自我牺牲的亲情，伟大的友情，这部电影都有。它更像是一封浪漫至上的情书。
Also, why is it that in the theaters so much of what we could see were cut from the film!! When I watched it yesterday, I didn't see the main characters reunite as grownups, but in the IMDb stills Toto obviously is reunited with his girlfriend! Why would the theaters cut this out?
以及，为什么在电影院里看会一剪梅！！我昨天去看的时候，没有看到托托和艾琳娜再相聚，但是IMDb里的剧照就有！为什么电影院里会把这么重要的环节剪掉？
