Watched Kristen Wiig’s new film A Boy Called Christmas today. (KRISTEN WIIG IS ALWAYS A WIN)
今天看完了我Wiig新片《圣诞男孩》。
As a Christmas film, I think it succeeded. It had magic and family, warmth with a bit of the impossible. It’s a great film for a family to sit down together and watch, especially if you have kids. Obviously, it wasn’t going to be a film with super deep meanings or societal commentary, and that’s OK, too. As a Christmas film, I enjoyed it.
作为一个圣诞片，它其实很合格。既有魔法也有亲情，温馨中带一点魔幻，很适合一家人（特别是有小孩子的）坐下来看。很明显，它肯定不是那种很有深度，对社会进行探讨的电影。所以作为圣诞电影，它成功了。
The actors in the film were all pretty good. There was Maggie Smith, who you might know from a lot of films but as Minerva McGonagall especially. There was my love Kristen Wiig, and quite a few talented young actors. It can oftentimes be awkward when young actors are given a lot of screen time if they don’t know how to act quite yet, but this film chose the right actors, and even the younger children were fully in character.
电影的演员阵容很强大。有我们熟知的“麦格教授”的扮演者Maggie Smith，有我的宝贝Kristen Wiig，还有很多很有天赋的小演员。这部电影的演技很棒，尽管很多是小孩子的戏，但是他们演技都不错，没有让观众有出戏的感觉。
The movie was beautiful visually, and gave off warm, holiday vibes. Whether it is Elfhelm or Nikolas’ home in the forest, the snowy paradise the film showcases really helps in giving the audience the entire Christmas feeling.
电影的画面也很美，很温馨的感觉。无论是Elfhelm还是男主Nikolas一开始住的家的森领，冰天雪地带给了观众浓浓的圣诞气氛。
Finally, as a fan: Wiig is the most adorable human being ever! Especially that bit at the end where she’s eating chocolate; this woman has to be the cutest person on the planet. I still love her even though she's a villain this time around hehe.
最后，作为粉丝说一句：我Wiig太可爱了，特别是后面吃巧克力的时候，简直是就是世界上最可爱的人了！虽然是坏人，但是我还是好喜欢怎么办嘻嘻。
